Brokerage Basics
The most common questions I get asked about REAL broker:
CAPS/SPLITS/FEES: 85/15 until $15,000 cap, then you keep 100% of your commissions No monthly fees. $400 from first three deals, small transaction fee after caping. **If you do not have a deal all year, you do not pay or owe anything. Real is a production based brokerage. *teams have additional cap options available IS THERE SUPPORT IF I NEED HELP? YES! We have incredibly responsive, kind and knowledgeable managing brokers always a call or text away. If it is general support, we have an amazing, eager-to-help group chat too. IS THERE AN OFFICE? Depending on your location, there are some hubs available. I personally work from home, or will take meetings in coffee shops/co-working spaces. I've found having everything virtual is much more convenient (especially with kids). WHAT EXACTLY IS THE REVENUE SHARE? You get free and discounted stock in the brokerage when you close transactions. You can have revenue share if a colleague joins real because of you - but the payment comes out of reals portion of their split.
